Privacy statement

Personal financial data stays personal.

Money Manager is a private application used only by its owner.

Information accessed

With the owner’s authorization, Money Manager may retrieve account names, types, balances, and transaction history through Plaid.

How information is used

Financial information is used only for personal budgeting, spending analysis, reporting, and account reconciliation. It is not sold, shared for advertising, or used to profile other people.

Credentials and security

Bank login credentials are entered through Plaid Link or the institution’s authorization page and are not received or stored by Money Manager. Plaid access tokens are stored in the owner’s macOS Keychain; Plaid API credentials remain server-side.

Storage and deletion

Imported financial data is stored locally on the owner’s computer. The owner can remove a Plaid connection and erase locally stored data at any time.

Scope

This website explains the application’s purpose and privacy practices. It does not collect bank information, offer public accounts, or provide access to the Money Manager application.
